Who we are
Pollinator Coaches of Minnesota is a program that is designed to build networks of community engagement throughout Minnesota by empowering our Community Neighbors, in partnership with their Pollinator Coaches, to make pollinator-friendly gardening choices. Making pollinator friendly gardening choices can be an incredibly overwhelming experience; there’s so much information, it’s all highly-specific, difficult to implement and often needs costly landscaping solutions. We’re here to take the guess work out of pollinator friendly gardening choices and put you on a path to finding success without the headache of traditional pollinator friendly solutions.
Core Values
Empowerment: We strive to empower our Coaches, clients, and community neighbors to try new things, to learn new skills, and to connect in new ways.
Community: We are building a network of passionate volunteers and community neighbors who have an interest in supporting pollinator friendly gardening practices while also getting to know their neighbors.
Diversity & Inclusion: We welcome any and all members of our communities who wish to share or expand their knowledge. Each of us has a unique set of experiences and expertise and, when brought together, that kind of depth of knowledge can facilitate amazing things.
Environmentalism: We support and deeply care for this planet and will do our best to ensure her longevity in any and all ways that we can.
Accessibility: We believe that knowledge should be available to anyone who wants it. We aim to create a network of highly-educated, passionate Pollinator Coaches to meet our community neighbors where they are in an effort to remove logistical barriers to success.
Action: We’re here to prove that actions of Small Good, when done on a mass scale, can produce remarkable results.
Simplicity: We aim to make pollinator-friendly gardening as simple, cost effective, and enjoyable as possible.
